Aniak Air Guides

Aniak Air Guides

Aniak Air Guides brings you the adventure of a lifetime in the remote backcountry of the Yukon-Kuskokwim-Bristol Bay region of southwest Alaska. Aniak Air Guides has been providing Alaskan wilderness trips since 1995. Our lodge is located in the village of Aniak, 350 miles west of the nearest road system. We are surrounded by breathtaking scenery in the perfect wild setting and are located right at the heart of some of the best fishing in Alaska.

Many fish and animal species call our area home. There are brown bear, grizzly bear, black bear, caribou, red fox, lynx, wolves, wolverines, musk ox, moose, ptarmigan, beavers, marten, and otters. There are tundra swans, a plethora of waterfowl and other migratory birds, all five species of Pacific salmon, rainbow trout, lake trout, Arctic char, Dolly Varden char, grayling, pike, burbot, and sheefish. Overhead, bald eagles, peregrine falcons, osprey, and other raptors soar. This area of the state just about has it all. It’s rich and untouched.

Aniak Air Guides is owned and operated by bush pilot and guide Rob Kinkade. With thousands of hours of flying in the bush and decades of guiding experience, service and safety are our highest priorities. One example of this extra care is that every group receives a marine radio so that we can fly over and check on them midway through the trip. We aim to give you added peace of mind in the backcountry.
