DiamondBlade Knives – In 2003, two quail hunters, Hobie Smith of Smith International, Inc., and Charles Allen, Knives of Alaska’s President, were teamed up at the Grand National Quail Convention in Enid, Oklahoma. Conversation led to business and eventually the challenge to build the most technologically advanced blade in the world. Later that year, a group of engineers from industry and Brigham Young University (BYU) met in Provo, UT, initiating a research project to create the sharpest, toughest, and longest lasting cutting edge for knives. After four years of research and development, the team of mechanical and electrical engineers, metallurgists and materials PhDs from Brigham Young University, and manufacturing experts from MegaStir, MegaDiamond, and Knives of Alaska, accomplished their mission. Their research yielded enhanced performance results that were proven to accomplish the team’s goal. Over 750 statistical tests were conducted using 12 different premium-grade knife steels, including CPMS30V, CPMS90, and Talonite, among others, and conclusively proved the DiamondBlade Friction Forged knives were superior in initial edge sharpness, edge retention and longevity, and toughness. Based in Denison, Texas, DIAMONDBLADE, LLC manufactures high-end fixed-blade and folding knives using the patented Friction Forged Technology featured this year on Science Channel’s How it’s Made.

For over 10 Years, Gunwerks has established its reputation by building and delivering complete shooting systems. From the bipod to the ballistic turret and everything in between, the Gunwerks shooting system comes ready to go. While other manufacturers were letting customers mount their own scopes and test their own loads, Gunwerks was delivering a shooting system capable of shooting accurately to 1000 yards, right out of the box. Eric Jungblom, owner of LeeLock Anchor Systems, was born into a family of fishermen. “Hauling in kings and silvers from the ocean and steelhead and other trout from the rivers and lakes alongside my father, grandfather, and uncle was my favorite thing to do. When I got a little older I took up fishing with drift and power boats in the big rivers but I often had trouble with the anchor and line and that wasn’t very safe. I realized we needed a simpler and safer system to manage anchors and boat accessories and I set out to develop it.”

LeeLock Anchor Systems was started in 2008 with one patented product: the LeeLock Line Lock, and there was no turning back. “After the creation of the Line Lock unit I incorporated it into an extensive line of products for power boats, drift boats and inflatable boats. After the Line Lock was in use I designed a universally interchangeable system that allows boat owners to easily and quickly change their anchor system accessories depending on their fishing and boating needs.” Presently the universally interchangeable systems are being used by guides throughout the U.S. and Canada.

LeeLock Anchor Systems is located in Ferndale, WA. “All the materials I use come from the U.S. and the products are manufactured and assembled right here in the shop. It’s very important to me that LeeLock Anchoring Systems and Accessories are made in the U.S.A.” Eric Jungblom, owner.

Welcome to Naknek River Camp – I am addicted to catching big fish. I’ve been through all of the 12-step programs. I’ve read John Gierach. I’ve even taken pictures of eight-inch brook trout. Nothing has worked. The adrenaline rush that sweeps through me when a monster fish grabs my fly is like a drug. For someone afflicted with this pervasive illness, Alaska is the only medicine. The problem is that like most addictions, this one can be horribly expensive. Many a poor soul has been forced to choose between buying shoes for his kids or paying for that $10,000 trip to Bristol Bay. Thankfully, help has arrived.

A trip to the Naknek, the best trophy rainbow river in Bristol Bay, is now available at an affordable price. No longer will a fishing trip to Alaska have to be “once in a lifetime” because, speaking as an addict, a one-time shot of Alaska just isn’t enough. You have to experience the epic smolt migrations of June, the huge runs of salmon in July and August and the monster rainbows of September and October for yourself.

No, for the true big-fish junkie, one trip to Alaska won’t stop the shakes. That is why, here at Naknek River Camp, we’ve gone the extra mile to make Alaska affordable: 7-day guided trips, including food and lodging in our riverfront resort from $3,995.

Welcome to Nushagak River Adventures Lodge. The Nushagak is best known for having the largest run of wild king salmon anywhere in the world and a huge run of silvers! Our remote river receives less sport angling pressure than other parts of Alaska—and that makes the fishing even better. Guests choose from the king or silver salmon seasons or a multi species trip in the latter half of July. You’ll travel from Anchorage to Dillingham, Alaska then on to the lodge by floatplane for four glorious days of guided fishing. Nushagak River Adventures Lodge is a five star lodge in Alaska’s Bristol Bay. The property has been rebuilt from the ground up over the last three years ago. Most of the operations on The Nush are tent camp facilities, but our lodge features individual 12′ x 20′ cabins complete with USB wall outlets. Real beds, quality mattresses, and down pillows provide first class comfort. A brand new main lodge is where we gather for good company and expertly made meals. Our full service lodge provides meals, guiding, private cabins, and fish processing. We combine top shelf service, superb dining, quality boats, gear and accommodations plus outstanding salmon fishing to make for an exceptional Alaska fishing trip.

Togiak River Lodge is the only full-service lodge on the famed Togiak River. The Togiak is home to one of the best king and coho salmon fisheries in the entire state of Alaska. We offer full-service packages which include guided fishing, lodging, food and top-notch fish processing. In addition to kings and silvers, the Togiak is home to chum, red, and pink salmon, as well as Dolly Varden char and rainbow trout.  Guests visiting Togiak River Lodge travel to Anchorage and then board a flight that brings them to the village of Togiak. From there, we pick you up and your adventure begins. Our lodge is a short boat ride upriver from the mouth, which puts us in prime location to intercept chrome, sea-lice laden salmon. Our guides are experts in this fishery and have many years of experience putting clients onto fish. On the Togiak, the king and silver runs are very healthy and with little competition from other anglers, the fishing is generally fantastic. We understand that our guests want to bring home prime-quality salmon from their trip to Togiak Lodge, so we take special heed to properly care for, fillet, vacuum-seal and package your fish for travel home. Our goal is to provide an extraordinary fishing experience, comfortable lodging, quality food, salmon fillets to enjoy for months to come, and memories to last a lifetime.

Wheelhouse – This is the commercial-grade version of our very popular Ankle Deck Boot fishermen have been asking for. Standing for 12+ hours a day on the sea can cause feet to swell, and the wider fit of this boot is built for that. The upper is reinforced in high wear areas such as the toe and heel for maximum durability. The boot features an EVA/PU-blend insole for all-day comfort, and an SRC-rated outsole for industry- leading slip resistance. Available in men’s sizes.

Homer – True Alaskan innovation, the Homer was inspired by Alaskan commercial fishermen who prefer to slip into a lightweight shoe when the fish aren’t biting. The Homer is water resistant, but with a slipper-like feel. A comfortable wool upper with a full faux-shearling lining keeps you warm and cozy, while a molded EVA insole provides added comfort. The classic XTRATUF non-marking Chevron outsole delivers great slip resistance. Unisex sizes available.

Legacy Lace – We previewed this style as an online, limited edition in November and December and they sold out in no time and people are continuing to ask for this style. An exciting new collection from XTRATUF, the Legacy Lace enables our community of doers to explore farther, work harder and do more in a highly versatile boot. Rich waterproof leather uppers meet the iconic triple-dipped latex neoprene Legacy bottom unit. Legacy’s are known for their unique, pliable construction that is flexible and soft while also providing excellent protection, traction and all-day comfort no matter where your adventures may lead.  Available for both men and women, and also available in a Chelsea style.

Yakutat Lodge provides full-service lodging, meals, guided fishing, vehicles and rental boats. We offer three different locations for our guests: The Big House on the Bay, Yakutat Lodge on the Bay and Yakutat Lodge. Our restaurant, lodge and office are conveniently located at the airport, so getting here and checking in are easy. We are open from April through September. We offer freshwater fishing on the world-class Situk River for steelhead, sockeye salmon, coho salmon and Dolly Varden char. We also offer fully-guided saltwater charters where anglers can catch halibut, lingcod, rockfish, as well as Chinook and coho salmon. Saltwater fishing is done within 10 miles of our private dock, and the water is usually calm. The ride to the fishing grounds is quick, and scenic, and the bottom fishing we do is usually in 150 feet of water or less. The Situk is a world-class river, and part of the experience is a 14-mile drift-boat ride down the river. It twists and turns through old-growth forest, and viewing animals like moose, bear and eagles is part of the adventure. Our guides are top-notch and have many years of experience. Our staff aims to help make your trip memorable in every aspect, our restaurant serves good food, and our bar offers a wide selection of beverages. Come to Yakutat Lodge and you will be hooked!
